Additionally, drivers filing all three entries by Aug 8 will receive a discounted fee of $25 per race ($75 total). Entries received with a postmark that's after Aug 8 but still before each event's individual deadline, will pay a fee of $50 per event ($150 total) and will not be eligible for the tire draw.
"Anyone who doesn't enter all three by the early deadline is missing out on a great opportunity," commented David Chagnon, a weekly competitor at Thunder Road in Barre, VT, the host track for two of the three ACTion Super Series events. "You don't have to be a math wiz to recognize the savings. I'm a "low buck" guy and the opportunity to win four tires is really appealing. Obviously, I'm not a Tour regular, but I figure with the home track advantage I've got as good a shot at getting in the Bond Auto Labor Day Classic as the next guy, if I have a little luck."
The Colchester, VT driver continued, "Plus, Tom's (Curley) put together some great programs for teams such as mine. The Reserve Championship deal, with its separate point fund for drivers who don't even make the feature race, is unique and looks like it was designed with me in mind. I've got my sights set on improving my place in the Thunder Road points so hopefully a provisional will come my way if I need it," he finished.
The ACTion Super Series, which helps celebrate ACT's 20th anniversary, kicks off on Sunday, Sept 4 at Thunder Road with the $68,000+ Bond Auto Labor Day Classic 200. The second race, on Sunday, Sept 25, is the REMAX Alliance National 150 at Lee USA Speedway in NH, which has a posted purse of over $70,000. The $200,000 Series concludes on Sat/Sun, Oct 1-2 back at Thunder Road with the 42nd running of the New England Dodge Dealers Milk Bowl. The Milk Bowl, known as the toughest short track stock car racing in America, will award over $80,000.
Fifteen-dollar discount advance sale tickets to the Bond Auto Labor Day Classic 200 are available through all 32 Bond Auto locations throughout VT and NH as well as at the ACT office in Waterbury, VT. Fans will realize a savings of $5.00 per adult general admission ticket when purchased in advance. The price on race day will be $20.00.
