THUNDER ROAD'S LABOR DAY CLASSIC TO AIR LIVE ON BOSTON STATION
Boston's only NASCAR station, "1510 The Zone," WWZN, has expanded its Sunday coverage of the Bond Auto Labor Day Classic 200 at Barre, Vermont's Thunder Road International Speedbowl to include a live broadcast of the American-Canadian Tour Late Model event.
The Weekend Thunder motorsports show, a live, two-hour pre-race program featuring Bob MacKinnon, Hal Friberg and Greg "Dr. Spooky" Lucas, will air from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm on Sunday. Bond Auto Labor Day Classic 200 race coverage from the "Nation's Site of Excitement" will follow at 4:00 pm.
Sunday's $10,000 to win Bond Auto Labor Day Classic 200 is the opening event in the three race ACTion Super Series. The race, the richest in the history of the high banked, quarter-mile oval, has drawn a record number of entries from across the region.
Qualifying, through 20-lap heat races will begin at 1:00 pm Sunday for the 30 starting positions.
