Tina Boutin, ACT's Administrative Assistant, states that drivers from all six New England states as well as New York and Quebec have filed an entry for the first of three ACTion Super Series races.
At 200 laps, the Bond Auto Labor Day Classic will also be the longest Late Model race at the track this year.
While the record number of entries for Sunday's race is exceptional, it is not totally surprising. In the previous six American-Canadian Tour events, the group has averaged just over 40 cars per race. Nearly half of entered cars will not make the starting field as only 30 starting positions are available.
Sunday's Bond Auto Labor Day Classic has a post time of 1:00 pm. Spectator gates will open at 10:00 am.
