WHEELS FOR WARMTH VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
Preliminary interest in Saturday's Wheels For Warmth tire swap has exceeded what was expected and organizer Phil Scott is asking for volunteers from the racing community to assist in this worth while cause.
Thunder Road race teams who are willing to loan their tire carts to the cause on Saturday should call Phil at 802-223-5288. Drivers, team members or fans who are willing to volunteer a couple of hours helping out are also asked to call Dubois Construction at 802-223-5288.
The Tire Swap will take place this Saturday, Oct 29, from 7:00 am until 3:00 pm.
Tires can be dropped off in advance at Dubois Construction in Montpelier (46 Three Mile Bridge Rd) on Thursday (Oct 27) from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm and Friday (Oct 28) from noon until 8:00 pm. Tires can also be donated on the day of the "Swap." They will be sorted and priced according to size.
