SUPER SERIES GOODYEAR TIRE DRAWING TO MARC CURTIS
Sophomore ACT Tour competitor, Marc Curtis Jr of Worcester, MA was gifted with four Goodyear Eagle racing tires for use at the upcoming Sanair Super Speedway Mega Classique, July 8/9. The 22 year-old driverís name was selected by blind draw during the driver meeting last Saturday at the Tourís White Mountain Motorsports Park stop from among the 40-some who were eligible for the annual ACTion Super Series openerís tire draw.

ďThatís great!Ē the surprised driver commented of his prize which has a value of about $500. Curtis, along with the majority of the ACT Tour competitors who will tackle the 7/8th mile Sanair Super Speedway tri-oval in a few short weeks, have never raced at a track thatís nearly a mile in length.

Late Model drivers who entered all three of the $10,000 to win ACTion Super Series races by a specific deadline are eligible for the three Goodyear Tire draws. Additional draws will be held for the Bond Auto Labor Day Classic 200 (Sept 2-3) and the New England Dodge Dealers Milk Bowl (Sept 30-Oct 1), both at Barre, Vermontís Thunder Road Intíl Speedbowl.

The ACTion Super Series kicks off with the July 8-9 race at the Sanair Super Speedway, a 7/8ths mile tri-oval. Over $70,000 has been posted for La Mega Classique which will be contested ďMonza-styleĒ with a combined score from three 50-lap segments determining the overall winner.
