Promoter Denis Lachance and American-Canadian Tour (ACT) officials have agreed on a schedule format and admission prices for this weekend’s Late Model stock car race at Circuit Ste-Croix.
The previously-scheduled two-day ACTion Super Series “Stock Car Mania 200” has been cancelled. In its place will be a stand-alone Série ACT Castrol event, the St-Laurent 100, on Sunday, June 24. The St-Laurent 100 will not award championship points for the U.S.-based ACT Late Model Tour.
Pits will open at 10:00 am, followed by Série ACT Castrol practice at 12:00 noon. Qualifying heats for the St-Laurent 100 will begin at 2:00 pm, with the main event scheduled to begin at 4:00 pm.
General admission will be $25 (Canadian funds) for adults. Pit passes will be $25 for ACT license holders, $35 for those without an ACT license. The race day schedule and admission prices will be similar for Série ACT Castrol events at Circuit Ste-Croix on Tuesday, July 24 and Saturday, August 11.
The ACTion Super Series “La Mega Classique 150” event for the ACT Late Model Tour at Sanair Super Speedway (St-Pie, QC) on Sat./Sun., July 7/8 has been cancelled.
