Roberge Suspended Following Série ACT Castrol Riverside Event
The American Canadian Tour has announced a suspension and fines for Kevin Roberge and his #16QC team. Roberge and team have been suspended from ACT competition for the remainder of the 2011 season after their actions at Riverside Speedway in Ste-Croix, Quebec during a Série ACT Castrol event on Saturday, June 18.
Roberge will have to pay a fine of $1,500 to the RPQ point fund before consideration of reinstatement. Crew member Serge Roberge will have to pay a fine of $500 before consideration of reinstatement. Crew member Dany Lagace has been fined $5,000, which is payable to the RPQ point fund and must be paid before consideration of reinstatement. Lagace is also suspended from entering the property of any ACT event for the remainder of the 2011 season.
All ACT affiliated tracks have been notified of the suspension. If a track does not observe the Lagace suspension, it will be taken into consideration during future ACT sanction agreements.
