ACT Driver of the Day: Bobby Therrien
Therrien added the 2013 ACT US Rookie of the Year Title to his list of accomplishments which includes championships in the Tiger Sportsmen and Street Stock ranks at his home track of Thunder Road.
On his way to the Rookie of the Year title, Therrien put together one of the most successful rookie seasons in the history of ACT, and also finished 4th in the final standings. He pocketed over $16,000 for the season.
With just one career ACT start before the season, Therrien claimed his first career top five in the second event of the year. He proved it wasn’t a fluke by racking up eight top tens on the season, including his first career win. That win came in dominant fashion as he led all but two of the 150 laps at White Mountain. Therrien is one of just four drivers to claim an ACT feature win during their rookie season.
