One year after scoring the biggest win of his Late Model career, Jason Corliss is ready to do it all again. With just days remaining before the 56th Vermont Milk Bowl presented by Northfield Savings Bank, the hometown racer and his Burnett Motorsports team are hard at work preparing for this year’s edition of the “Toughest Short Track Race in North America”.

The 56th Vermont Milk Bowl Weekend launches on Friday, September 28 with the inaugural Northfield Savings Bank “Milk Bowl Friday”. The special Friday night affair will feature the region’s top racers from a trio of top Northeast touring series duking it out the night before Milk Bowl qualifying.

This year, the thirst for victory in the Milk Bowl will extend far beyond the Northeast. West Des Moines, Iowa’s Mason Mitchell, the 2014 ARCA Racing Series Champion, has officially entered the 56th Vermont Milk Bowl presented by Northfield Savings Bank and will look to bring the famed milk can trophy back to the heartland. 

The “Toughest Short Track Race in North America” will be available to a worldwide audience once again in 2018. Speed51.com and Thunder Road International Speedbowl officials announced Wednesday that the 56th Vermont Milk Bowl Weekend will be streamed live via a pay-per-view broadcast on Speed51.com.

Hometown racer Jason Corliss proved once again that he’s the man to beat in big Thunder Road events by taking the Coca-Cola Labor Day Classic for the American-Canadian Tour (ACT) on Sunday, September 2. Corliss grabbed the lead from polesitter Cody Blake just before the halfway point and never looked back on his way to a $5,000 payday in the Summer Showdown Series finale.

The American-Canadian Tour (ACT) travels to Barre, VT’s Thunder Road this Sunday, September 2 for the 40th Coca-Cola Labor Day Classic. With just two point-counting events remaining, the fight for the championship has gotten tense, giving fans just one more thing to watch at the holiday special.

Rowley, MA’s Eddie “The Outlaw” MacDonald controlled the second half of the Oxford Plains 150 on Saturday, August 25 to grab his second American-Canadian Tour (ACT) win of the season. MacDonald took the lead from polesitter Evan Hallstrom of Northfield, VT on lap 52 and held off multiple challenges from Williamstown, VT’s Jimmy Hebert to score the ACT season sweep at Oxford Plains Speedway.

The American-Canadian Tour (ACT) returns to the U.S. this Saturday, August 25 as the cars and stars of the series head to Maine’s Oxford Plains Speedway for their second visit of the season. The Oxford Plains 150, part of the 45th Annual Clark’s Scrap Metals Oxford 250 Weekend, comes as the ACT Late Model Tour hits the stretch drive of the 2018 championship chase.

Blainville, QC’s Jonathan Bouvrette took the high road to victory at Vallée-Jct., QC’s Autodrome Chaudiere in the American-Canadian Tour (ACT) Bacon Bowl 200 on Saturday, August 18. The former Serié ACT Champion grabbed the lead on lap 81 and was never headed from there on his way to the $10,000 CAD top prize.

Some of the biggest stars of the American-Canadian Tour (ACT) will be heading north of the border this Saturday, August 18. The Bacon Bowl 200 at Vallée-Jct., QC’s Autodrome Chaudiere is shaping up to be the biggest Late Model event of the year in Quebec and is expected to attract racers from throughout the province as well as the northeastern United States.
