Statement From Cris Michaud And Pat Malone

Greetings from Cris Michaud and Pat Malone! Many of you have heard the news by now that we have purchased the American-Canadian Tour. We have received a number of calls, emails, and other communications from drivers and fans over the past few days, and we appreciate everybody’s support as we embark on this new journey.

We are excited and honored to have the opportunity to carry on the legacy and ideals established by Tom Curley. Although ACT has taken many different on-track forms since its founding in 1986, from the old ACT Pro Stock Tour to the current Late Model Tour, it has always been committed to producing exciting competition that is affordable for teams and spectators. We are dedicated to carrying on that tradition in the years to come and continuing ACT’s status as one of the premier auto racing series in the Northeast.

As of this writing, we are hard at work on the schedule for the 2018 ACT Late Model Tour and hope to have it finalized within the next few weeks. We are speaking with a number of different track promoters throughout the region in an effort to produce a schedule that makes sense for our teams and followers. We are also working on the rules for the 2018 season and plan to have those out by Thanksgiving. More information will follow in the weeks and months to come, so please continue to check our web site and social media accounts for further updates.

Again, we want to thank everyone for their support during this transition. We know there are a number of people who have followed ACT for many years are anxiously wondering what the future will bring. Rest assured that both of us are committed to the long-term success of this series. We look forward to working with you and hope to see everyone at a race track near you in 2018.
