Hometown Hero Beattie Takes Bar Harbor Bank & Trust Fall Foliage 200 at White Mountain

N. Woodstock, NH — The Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour returned to White Mountain Motorsports Park for the second and final time in the 2026 season for the 48th Bar Harbor Bank & Trust Fall Foliage 200. Twenty-nine teams made the trip to one of New England’s most scenic facilities with just one standing tall to join one of the region’s most iconic wins list in the 48th Bar Harbor Bank & Trust Fall Foliage 200!

White Mountain track championship point leader Quinny Welch was looking forward to the extra-distance showdown before his rear-end gave out in the second practice to end his day. Kasey Beattie, current runner-up in the season-long White Mountain standings, Colin Cornell and rookie Lukee Shannon were left prepared to defend the home turf against the ACT invaders.

Double-duty driver Trevor Sanborn, Thunder Road hot-shoe Stephen Martin and Milton CAT championship chaser Erick Sands took the three heat race wins while ACT point leader Gabe Brown dominated the consolation race. At the start it was former Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour champions Nick Sweet and DJ Shaw who brought the twenty-eight-car starting field to the green flag.

Shaw quickly brought his Bar Harbor Bank & Trust Ford Mustang to bear on the outside groove, launching to the lead and making hay ahead of Beattie and Sweet’s side-by-side battle for second. Shaw worked the bottom groove while Beattie stayed high, wide and handsome on the outside before Sanborn called out the first caution with a blown ignition ending his day in the RSB Chassis Chevy Camaro.

As with the Labor Day Classic at Thunder Road, officials paused the action at lap 50 for the planned fuel stop to ensure teams could go the distance and refuel in a safe and controlled manner. Beattie continued to show the way out front as Shaw was forced to hold off the likes of top ACT point drivers Jesse Switser and Kaiden Fisher while point leader Gabe Brown was forced pit-side with power steering issues on lap 112, returning to action on lap 142 after repairs.

By then, fate was sealed up front for Kasey Beattie who faced his final serious challenge on the lap 195 restart. With Jesse Switser to his inside, Beattie lit the fuse and launched like a rocket sled on rails in the outside groove to take his second career Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour victory in the Bar Harbor Bank & Trust Fall Foliage 200! DJ Shaw got under Jesse Switser in the final corner to take second at the line.

Erick Sands finished fourth and with his fifth-place finish, Kaiden Fisher earned the 2026 Brookside Equipment Sales Triple Crown! Riverside Speedway regulars Jamie Swallow, Jr. and Jeff Marshall finished sixth and seventh followed by top Quebecer Jonathan Bouvrette in eighth. Brian Whalley brought the HK Race Department Chevy to ninth with Cole Littlewood earning his second top-ten finish of the season in tenth.

The Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour returns to Thunder Road International Speedbowl in Barre, Vermont for the 64th Vermont Milk Bowl presented by Northfield Savings Bank on Saturday and Sunday, October 3 and 4. The Toughest Short Track Stock Car Race in North America will pit the best of the Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour against the best of Thunder Road’s weekly warriors and all other invaders for a chance at the $12,000 winner’s share and the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to Kiss the Cow in victory lane!
