Barre, VT — An incredible season comes to an end this Saturday afternoon for the Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour. After seven months of traveling across New England and Quebec, the international touring series will wrap up the 2025 season with the Milton CAT Haunted Hundred in Massachusetts at the Seekonk Speedway with four drivers mathematically able to nab the championship this Saturday!
St. Joseph, Quebec’s Raphael Lessard has taken the Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour by storm in 2025. After years of supporting Serie ACT Quebec full time with dozens of one-off trips to the states, the Larue Motorsports #48QC took on the full Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour schedule for the first time in their storied career with Lessard behind the wheel for a season to remember. With one event left, the combination has taken two wins, earning nearly $40,000 in purse and prizes while leading the standings the majority of the season. Can they wrap it all up this Saturday at Seekonk, only if they can contend with some strong competition.
After his fourth win of the season just days ago at Oxford Plains Speedway, Gabe Brown has clawed his way back into the championship chase, 43 points behind Lessard. Brown’s Bolt Depot Chevrolet has had a mixed bag of results at the Bay State oval with a high-point third place run in the 2024 Spring Green but has also lost ground at the Cement Palace in the past.
Like Brown, third-place runner D.J. Shaw has also seen a mixed bag at Seekonk, but the Bar Harbor Bank & Trust Ford Mustang was hooked up at the Action Track of the East in June’s 50th Spring Green. Shaw led the most laps in the 125-lap affair, losing out to home-grown star Derek Gluchacki with just seventeen laps remaining to showcase his short run capabilities, a big boost ahead of Saturday’s 100 lapper.
Far from least is West Burke, Vermont’s Jesse Switser, currently fourth in the standings 86-points back but still mathematically in the hunt. Switser has been the dark horse runner of the Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour in just his third season on the international circuit with growing confidence within himself and his team leading to his career best this year. The Utley Construction / Falconer Trucking Ford has taken six top-five finishes, led 66 laps and a season-best 2nd-place finish at the Star Speedway. Two out of three Seekonk appearances have earned Switser a top-five finish, keep an eye on the #25NH this Saturday.
The last race of the season is seeing plenty of invaders alongside fellow full-timers like defending Haunted Hundred victor Erick Sands, Bay Staters’ Gluchacki and Cole Littlewood, Vermont’s Kaiden Fisher and Quebec contingent Alexendre ‘Fireball’ Tardif, Jonathan Bouvrette and Remi Perreault. Seekonk home turf defenders will include Mark Jenison, Chase Belcher, Josh Hedges, Andrew Gomes, Ryan Kuhn and Ryan Flood while Thunder Road regulars Jason Corliss and Taylor Hoar are also making the trip. Modified master Jake ‘The Jet’ Johnson is bringing the family #15MA machine and Quebec City’s William Larue will pilot the second Larue Motorsports Mustang.
The Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour wraps up the 2025 season this Saturday, October 25 at the Seekonk Speedway for the Milton CAT Haunted Hundred. Joined by the Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series and an Open Street Stock Special, one final 100-lap dash will put all Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour teams on notice at one of the most competitive tracks in the Northeast with one final opportunity to take the win before the snow flies!
