8th Milton CAT Midsummer Classic 250 Makes for International Title Fight on US Soil

$10K on the Line in the Marquee Late Model Event of the Summer!

Barre, VT — The time has come once again for the return of the longest point-counting event of the summer season for the Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour as they invade New Hampshire’s White Mountain Motorsports Park for the 8th annual Milton CAT Midsummer Classic 250! The $10,000 to win showdown will once again pit the local hot-shoes versus the Touring stars and the Quebec invaders for the title fight of the summer season!

All eyes are glued on Raphael Lessard, the Quebec phenom who has rocked the Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour this season in partnership with the Larue Motorsports team. Lessard earned his first and, so far, only win of the season in the Kancamagus 150 at White Mountain back in June and looks to make it two-for-two this Saturday with the $10,000 check.

Fellow Beauceron Alexendre ‘Fireball’ Tardif is also set to return to White Mountain after getting down 100 laps of practice in last week’s New Hampshire Governor’s Cup program. Tardif, behind the wheel of the Jason Glaude-owned #31CT is also looking for a second Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour win this season and his first ever on American soil. Jonathan Bouvrette and Remi Perreault are also confirmed to make the trip from Quebec to the fan and driver-favorite facility in North Woodstock.

D.J. Shaw and Jesse Switser are currently in a stalemate for second in Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour points with both drivers looking to add another Midsummer Classic trophy to their collection. Shaw is the two time and defending Milton CAT Midsummer Classic winner while Switser’s break-out victory back in 2023 has led him to become a top runner on the international touring series and a threat to win often!

Gabe Brown also took to the White Mountain highbanks last Saturday to win the New Hampshire Governor’s Cup in preparation for the Midsummer Classic 250 this week. Kasey Beattie took home second last week behind Brown and also holds the second spot in the weekly Late Model standings at the quarter-mile. Kaiden Fisher, Erick Sands, Derek Gluchacki and Cole Littlewood are all looking for a little home cooking this Saturday to boost their season-long goals as the Tour passes the halfway point.
