The Fall Showdown on Wednesday, September 17 will feature a twin 50-lap bill for both the Outlaw Open Modified Dash for Cash AND the $3,000-to-win, $300-to-start Late Model 50 lap sprint!

Thompson, CT — Following two qualifying heat races, Jon McKennedy and Matt Swanson faced-off at the head of the Outlaw Open Modifieds in the Twisted Tea Midsummer 50. Ronnie Williams motored under Swanson to take second on lap ten but otherwise the top five remained in line to conserve to the end. The conservation came into play with the lap 39 spin and flat left-front tire for Glen Steger in turn four, with Williams and Chris Pasteryak electing to jump pitside to swap tires, front to rear on the right side.
