Chaudiere Marks First of Three Trips to Quebec for Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour

Barre, VT — The Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour is ready to hit the road once again this Saturday for the Claude Leclerc 150 at Vallee-Jonction, Quebec’s Autodrome Chaudiere. The highbanked Canadian oval is a popular site for teams and fans alike with the Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour stars once again set to put on some of the most exciting three-wide racing of the season!

Named in honor of the Iron Man of the American-Canadian Tour, Claude Leclerc has been a staple of the Tour since its inception in 1979. With over 600 starts in ACT-sanctioned competition, Leclerc is the benchmark of longevity in motorsports and continues to battle in the Serie ACT Quebec Tour as well as maintaining several cars of teammates and foes alike.

After winning his first race in the United States since 2020 at White Mountain Motorsports Park less than two weeks ago, Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour point leader Raphael Lessard is going into Saturday with the utmost confidence. Chaudiere has been his home away from home for several years, the driver even lives less than ten minutes from the facility, and is an early favorite to take the Claude Leclerc 150 honors.

Former Claude Leclerc 150 winners Jonathan Bouvrette and Alexendre Tardif are also early favorites to claim another $5,000 win at Autodrome Chaudiere. While both would also enjoy the jump in the Milton CAT point standings, a hardnosed group of Quebec defenders are ready to join them and take on the US invaders. Dany Trepanier has podiumed in all but one Claude Leclerc 150 and would love to make the event his first Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour triumph, as would the likes of Maxime Gauvreau, L.P. Lauzier, Jeff Cote, Michael Lavoie and William Larue, among the top Quebec teams.

After finishing third behind Tardif in last summer’s edition, Gabe Brown is on the outside looking in on his title defense and would love to earn his first Quebec win on Saturday. Fellow US-based drivers D.J. Shaw, Jesse Switser, Kaiden Fisher, Kasey Beattie, Erick Sands and Cole Littlewood are among the top US invaders ready for another rumble at Chaudiere and a chance at the Claude Leclerc 150 payday!

The Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour returns to Autodrome Chaudiere in Vallee-Jonction, Quebec this Saturday, June 21 for the Claude Leclerc 150 with a 3:00pm Post Time. If you can’t make it to Vallee-Jonction, Quebec this Saturday, you can catch all the action live on Racing America.

All this before the Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour teams turn around to Seekonk Speedway in Massachusetts for the 50th Spring Green 125 on Wednesday, June 25. The $6,000-to-win, $650-to-start showdown will celebrate the fiftieth running of one of the great cornerstones of the iconic Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour as part of Seekonk Speedway’s iconic mid-week showdowns!
